Patients that require annual medication refills
Patients that require annual medication refills, chronic illness follow-up, or annual blood work should book a routine visit instead of an annual physical. Annual physical examination appointments are for healthy patients who have no apparent medical problems or mental illness. This appointment type is used to discuss preventative screenings, health issues relevant to a patient’s lifestyle, and past social and family histories. Physicians will focus on the individual needs of the patient relevant to their risk profile depending on age, sex and medical health. Healthy patients may not need to have annual physical examinations every year, based on recommendations from the physician. If ever unsure of what appointment type to book our front desk staff will be able to help.
