Dr. Brenda Brennan

Dr.Brenda Brennan

Dr. Brenda Brennan attended medical school at the University of Ottawa, graduating in 1990. She completed her family medicine residency at the University of Ottawa in 1993. As well, she has worked in the department of obstetrics in Lahr, Germany and the primary care clinic in Iqaluit, Nunavut. She has been providing comprehensive care in Osgoode since 1993 and has a special interest in the care of the elderly. She is also involved in teaching medical residents and medical students at the University of Ottawa. She believes in the value of fitness for overall physical and emotional health and personally enjoys running, hiking, cycling, kayaking, canoeing and cross country and downhill skiing.




Dr. Terry Brennan

Dr. Terry Brennan attended medical school at the University of Ottawa graduating in 1985. He completed his internship at St. Mary’s Hospital, Montreal in 1986 and then worked as physician for the Canadian Military in Calgary from 1986 until 1990. He worked in the department of pediatrics at the military hospital in Lahr, Germany from 1991 until 1992. He has worked in Iqaluit, Nunavut providing primary care and emergency services. He has been providing comprehensive care in Osgoode since 1992 and has a special interest in third world medicine having spent time in volunteering for Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief in Africa. He is an assistant professor at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Medicine. He strongly believes in the health benefits of exercise and is the founder of the Osgoode Athletic Club and the Osgoode Cadence Bicycle Club. He personally enjoys squash, hockey, cycling, kayaking, canoeing and cross country and downhill skiing.




Dr. Brian Devin

Dr. Brian Devin graduated from the University of Toronto in 1993 and completed his Family Medicine residency at Queen’s University in 1995. In addition to office family medicine, he maintains hospital privileges at Winchester District Memorial Hospital. His hospital work includes inpatient care, surgical assisting and Emergency Department shifts. He is the Unit Medical Director for the Winchester site of the University of Ottawa Family Medicine Residency Program. He has a special interest in office minor surgical procedures and in the application of technology to healthcare.



Dr. Stephannie MacDonell

Dr.Stephannie MacDonell

Dr. Stephannie MacDonell graduated from medical school at the University of Ottawa in 2007 and finished her Family Medicine residency at Queen’s University in 2009. She then went on to subspecialize by doing additional training in the health care of adults with developmental disabilities. In addition to office family medicine, she does surgical assisting at Winchester District Memorial Hospital and consulting for other physicians caring for adults with developmental disabilities. She is actively involved with teaching in the area of developmental disabilities both at the University of Ottawa (for staff and residents) and for other family physicians wanting to learn more about this health care. She also is actively involved with volunteering as a medical advisor for the Ontario Special Olympics.



Dr. Antoine Gagnon

Dr. Antoine Gagnon

Dr. Gagnon, who joined us in July 2014, attended medical school at the University of Ottawa, graduating in 2004 and completed his family medicine residency at the same institution in 2006. During his training, Dr. Gagnon pursued one of his interests, third world medicine, having spent some time in rural Malawi as well as Benin.

He has had the privilege of providing comprehensive care in Embrun Ontario for the last 7 years.  He enjoys all aspects of medicine from complete primary care to operating room assistance at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Gagnon has also been extensively involved with the medical undergraduate program at the University of Ottawa where he serves as co-Director of Clerkship as well as being an Associate Professor of the Department of Family Medicine.

Dr. Gagnon grew up in the Ottawa Valley where he and his wife, a local art teacher, along with their three children continue to call home.  He has a great passion for the outdoors, traveling and experiencing new adventures, which he enjoys with his family.
