Introducing Dr. Antoine Gagnon
Dr. Gagnon, who will be joining the Osgoode Family Health Organization in July 2014, attended medical school at the University of Ottawa, graduating in 2004 and completed his family medicine residency at the same institution in 2006. During his training, Dr. Gagnon pursued one of his interests, third world medicine, having spent some time in rural Malawi as well as Benin.
He has had the privilege of providing comprehensive care in Embrun Ontario for the last 7 years and has recently joined the group at the Osgoode Family Health Organization. He enjoys all aspects of medicine from complete primary care to operating room assistance at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Gagnon has also been extensively involved with the medical undergraduate program at the University of Ottawa where he serves as co-Director of Clerkship as well as being an Associate Professor of the Department of Family Medicine.
Dr. Gagnon grew up in the Ottawa Valley where he and his wife, a local art teacher, along with their three children continue to call home.
Dr. Gagnon has a great passion for the outdoors, traveling and experiencing new adventures, which he enjoys with his family. He looks forward to meeting the residents of Osgoode and surrounding areas.
